goodbye green, hello inbetween

i am in my last weeks of living on waiheke, and realising how much i am going to miss the visual feast of this place; the vibrancy of colours jumping out at your eyes as you look across the rolling sea and native forest scapes. but i am city bound and drinking up the last of these fragrant island days because of it.

dreaming of creating a little jungle paradise of my own once i settle in to my new place- where ever that will be- by way of alocasias, succulents, and cacti varieties; can't wait!

  1. Go Green... Amazing! Going green is nowhere near a new concept as families and businesses begin switching to more energy efficient, natural, organic and green lifestyles.

  2. Turn your new abode into an internal forest.

  3. I just loooove indoor foliage! I've tried so many times to put plants in my home but my cat eats every single one :( he either eats them or digs out the soil. I used to have a beautiful little succulent garden when I lived in California and had a back yard. Love those little guys.
    Good luck with your move!

    1. That is amazing your cat eats foliage! What a cool cat, slash must be frustrating for you I imagine. You're in Oregon though right? Must be surrounded by majestic forests with deer in them and gigantic trees.... I love that place

  4. Sunbeam I keep trying to text you and it keeps saying delivery is pending, and when I try to call you it won't work! I got home fine (although totally pissed), and had such a fun night; I'm so sorry you were worried! Bloody phones xoxo

Oh and I think the thing you said to me about the sky and the ground was probably the best thing anyone's ever said at me. Can't wait to visit you in Dun's; all the best with the big move and your new home. Love you XOXO
